Silk Cycles Packable Bike at NAHBS 2013
Silk Cycles is a long standing Japanese bicycle builder, with a certain affinity for small tubes and truss-like construction. The pictured bike breaks in half with two bolts, packing within itself more or less, with the downtube mounted dropouts cradeling one of the wheels within the frame.
Independent Fabrication Gravel Racer at NAHBS 2013
Gravel and rough but not off-road racing is exploding right now, with small local races attracting larger fields every time around. Independent Fabrications is answering the call with this disc brake equipped roadish bike based on their Club Racer model that accepts larger volume tires and has geometry more suited for all day hauls.
