So, according to panel #10, should I lob a cat at them?

  4. DevonMarch 10, 2011 at 3:02 pm

@interstatement– I do believe so. It sure would make them think.

I typically rescue lost wheel lug nuts and give them a nice home in my pocket until I’m forced to reacquaint them with their car owners.

I always looked confused, so that one ain’t gonna work.

I like it! Tho I also like the lug nut thing-it’s always a nice gesture to return ‘lost’ items.

@Devon – “Come on Eileen”??! There’s a special place in hell for people like you! :-P

No more Mr. Nice Guy – technology is getting us beyond lugnuts. Some researchers at UC San Diego have managed to remotely hack and take over a car’s computerized control systems using its cellular and Bluetooth access – a mad cyclist’s wildest dream. It’s in the early stages, and they’re being cagey about the details, but it shouldn’t be long before there’s an app for that. Bwahahaha!

    Istanbul was Constantinople
    Now it’s Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone since Constantinople
Now it’s Turkish delight on a moonlit night…

Sounds like a good application for a small scale electromagnetic pulse device – just kill the car’s engine & electronics and pedal away.

I’ve done the “call me” thing, and in my experience it only enrages the driver more, who them attempt to run you over. Wouldn’t recommend it.
