Travel Channel – Triple Rush

The Travel Channel is set to premier it’s bike messenger television show on April 14th. Focused on three NYC messenger companies, the series looks to be a straightforward documentary of the in’s and out’s of messenger life, told by the messengers themselves.

Visit the Travel Channel’s website for more info, as well as photo galleries and a few video clips.

No way. How do you know it will “ruin,” the already stellar image of bike messaging, as though the image is already so well to do. I am wondering as I saw per your tweets, you say the show id “dumb,” please explain how you have this insight. Also, please explain the image of bike messengers now, and how this is the end of the inherent image the bike messenger. I for one, hope it is awesome then we will all have more work. The suits forget how easy it is to get a messenger to pick and drop a package, you know this can be a good thing. Or are you simply against all things that personally reach the masses? Seriously, momo, why so worried?

I agree… Maybe this show will remind everyone that we exist. This can only be a good thing.

As a rider myself this does not ruin anything, it actually creates awareness and some respect for these guys and bike riders out there.

Everyone knows that the past year bikes have sky rocketed worldwide, call it a trend, or whatever but it’s here to stay and a show like this that’s different and real are scarce.

All i have to say is that it’s an awesome show and hope they keep it on air.
