Ti Cycles Truss Fork Gravel Di2 NAHBS Bike

This mash up of genres is a gravel bike from Ti Cycles, built around carbon 26″ wheels, an electronic Shimano Di2 Ultegra group, and that titanium truss fork. Neither mountain nor cyclocross, this is a one of a kind adventure bike. Built in Portland OR, this one is destined for some all day epics exploring endless gravel and dirt roads. www.ticycles.com

this is one of the dumbest things i’ve ever seen. strip the components and melt the ti down to recycle it and never speak of this travesty again.

Interesting looking bike for sure. In this particular application, did are they using the truss fork just for a unique look, structural integrity (since they are using Ti for the fork), or for some sort of actual performance benefit? That fork is definitely polarizing as far as its looks are concerned.

I bet that odd looking truss fork and stem interconnection make this ride really plush on gravel. It should matter for 24hr gravel races where ulnar nerve/elbow/shoulder fatigue can occur. Uncreative trolls need continue, rather than post ignorance based on what they read in magazines edited/read by the spoonfed masses. Cool stuff.

This looks like something Jeff Jones built . My buddy use to have a Jones space frame with a similar truss fork and he loved it .
