Surly Wants Women Product Testers

Deadline Surly wants female product testers, and boatloads of email to sort through from people wanting to hop on the free product gravy train.

So here’s the deal, Surly is in need of female bodies to wear and tear the new goods. There is a criteria for this. If you meet this criteria then please reach out. If you do not meet this criteria please do not.

Check the qualifications and if you think you fit apply within at the Surly Blog.

I’m a roadie with a mountain biking addiction. I also commute to my job on a regular basis. My only downfall in terms of being active on the bike is my hibernation period. The place I currently call home is Pittsburgh, PA and needless to say it gets cold here in the winter. With that being said, I’d love to test out gear for us cold weather wimps. It’d be great to find gear that allows me to do more than curl up under a blanket all winter. Okay, that’s probably a bit of an overstatement, but you get the idea.

To speak to your qualifications, I am a woman. I don’t have any major ties to the industry other than I’m a washed up road racer and mountain bike enthusiast. My most favorite bike shop is in MD, Arrow Bicycle. It’s owned by a couple of great friends. Unfortunately, I live in Pittsburgh, PA. My favorite local bike shops here are Pro Bikes in Monroeville and Dirty Harry’s. I wear a size small in tops, hats, and gloves, and usually a small-medium in pants.

I agree to abide by all your stated rules. Thanks for the consideration!
