M Lock iPhone Bike Mount

Studio Proper recently released this anodized aluminum iPhone bike mount, corresponding with it’s M Lock iPhone case. The mount allows for quick installation, adjustable range of views and secures the phone via high powered magnets. The mount retails for around $60 while the case runs at $30. Buy them both here.

Wait, aren’t high powered magnets terrible for things with hard drives? Has Breaking Bad tragically misled me??

@Huizar Yes magnets are bad for spinning hard drives. An iPhone uses flash memory. If it didn’t, dropping it would kill the memory, if the screen survived.

So all together $90 – that’s a bit much! There are plenty of other brands that also use magnets such as xvida.com- their bike kit (case +bike mount) is half the price! @Hulzar- no magnets don’t affect the iPhone at all- I bought Xvida case 6 months ago, never took it off the phone and everything still works perfectly.

I just bought the M-Lock for my iPhone 6+, and it was worthless. the magnets are not strong enough to hold the phone/case securely. Phone fell off twice on my first road ride just going over minor imperfections in road. Returned and bought a Quadlock mount which is the real deal. No problems whatsoever.
