“You’re not making christianity better, you’re making rock and roll worse!” – King of the Hill

I watched this video and that quote came to mind, but a little altered. “You’re not making running better, you’re making cycling worse!”

There just isn’t anything progressive or beneficial to either activity with this medieval-esque contraption. It’s just design masturbation that looks to be more un-crotch-able than enjoyable. Actually, I take that back…being relegated to ride one of these as punishment for sport doping might just have the desired effect we all hope for. Nevermind, put these things into full production!

Seriously though, besides very minor tweaks and adjustments, can’t we just leave the bike alone?

I’m sorry, but WHAT THE F?#K IS THAT? I’ve seen some ugly looking contraptions but this, this is just painful to look at. My eyes are bleeding at such an ugly and stupid design concept.

I agree that overall this “contraption” definitely leaves something to be desired, but discouraging folks from pushing the limits of design seems less than desirable as well. Every successful idea in human history has had countless failures that led to it.

Two problems I see with that:

    1. It is stupid.
    2. No one will buy one.

Only one good thing I see about it:

    1. Probably won’t need to pay for a vasectomy.

If you stick your toes in the rear spokes, will it stop before amputating your phalanges?
