Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Washington DC. Each club sent their best polo players to New York City to battle it out in a hockey style, bench format polo tournament to decide the champion of the region in mid-April. Don’t let the lack of sponsors and a trophy lull you into thinking this wasn’t the hardest fought series many of us have ever seen—hometown pride is a strong motivator. An undefeated weekend earned Richmond the title of ESPI Bench Minor 2012 champions.
