ShanghaiShanghai handles an immense volume of two-wheeled traffic. Rush hour resembles Critical Mass in the busier districts as innumerable commuters pedal their way home. The bicycle of choice for most Chinese is still the Flying Pigeon, an iconic heap of clunky steel that harkens back to Maoist times.
