Riding like this is completely irresponsible. Cutting through crossing pedestrians at such a speed is absolutely murderous, what if a child comes out from behind a walking adult? I used to ride like this, until I once almost knocked over a pram I didn’t see. The mum gave me a well deserved earful and I’ve since reformed my ways.

Riders and cycling publications are always going on about drivers not paying them much heed, but every criticism should start at home.

Riding bikes should take away some measure of danger from the road, not adding to it. While it’s true that drivers need to be looking out for smaller vehicles, riders have the same responsibility with regards to pedestrians.

After seeing how this moron rides I could care less about the LockWhip Tool. Too bad this fool wasn’t taken out by the bus when he cut in front of it. This is the kind of dick that gives the rest of us a bad name.

Is there a reason he doesn’t use the tool being promoted to take the wheel off?

I don’t understand the idea behind this video.

Wow, It only takes two and half minutes to change gears, that’s convenience for you, which is lucky because he appeared to be in quite a hurry.

This would be a good advertisement to boast LeveL hubs.

[...] The 250mm x 40mm, hardened and blackened steel LockWhip isn’t exactly portable, but its more portable than a regular chain-whip and lock-ring combo tool, if only because you don’t need to carry a separate 15mm wrench. £26 ($42 / €31). LockWhip Tool FGLDN via Urban Velo [...]
