The Boovabox is an upcycled milk crate with a fancy nylon or truck top outer shell to keep your goodies in the basket, and for version with a top, the elements out. Milk crates are some of the best DIY baskets out there — relatively lightweight, inexpensive, strong — and the Boovabox aims to make them that much nicer to look at and use on a daily basis. Made in Kutztown PA, check out their Kickstarter page with another couple of days left for more details and to contribute to their crowdsourced funding if you’re into the project.

@Jacob it’s just a cover for milk crates, specifically the 13″x13″ type. Not a big deal at least nothing to get all hatey over. Maybe it’s good for folks with no sewing talent and don’t have friends that sew? I’m in Southern California and use my crate au natural, but if you live where there’s more weather a cover would probrably be nice (around here it seems like drivers forget how to drive in the rain between cloud bursts)
