Best Cities to See from a Bicycle Seat

Ok, I don’t know who from Indianapolis paid the author to write us into this article, but there we are…in pretty amazing, worldly company. So you heard it, Indianapolis is an amazing city to see from the seat of a bicycle, so pack your bags, come visit and bring your overstuffed wallet!

Now, I’ve lived here for a long time and I’ve had the fortune of living and cycling in many other cities, so I think I’m qualified enough to say that this is an exaggeration. Don’t get me wrong, Indianapolis is making awesome strides in catering to cyclists and we are probably near the top of the game in developing bicycle infrastructure right now, but there is one problem…there isn’t a whole lot to actually SEE in Indianapolis. I can hear the locals sharpening their knives from here. Look, I love this city and I love riding wherever I go, but there are far more deserving cities that should be included in this list. These are cities that both help cyclists see their city and have attractions that are worth the travel to see.

On a positive note, Indy is pretty cool and our bike culture has exploded in the past 5 years, so if you do swing into town, we’ll treat you right and show you around. You know what they say, Indy is the new Amsterdam. They do say that right?
