Graphic artist and cyclist, Zach Hoffner, does a cool blog out of Seattle called Zlog. He recently designed a batch of very cool t-shirts.
The first run will be a two color print of Aqua and 3M reflective ink. As you can see in the photos on the Zlog site, the ink reflects when direct light hits it. The photo pictured to the right was taken with a direct flash which represents how a car would see you if you were riding towards it at night. The other photo (on the Zlog blog) is what the shirt looks like normally with indirect lighting. (Incidentally, the photos were snapped by Urban Velo cover photographer, Brenton Salo.)
The shirt will set you back $20. Visit Zlog’s online boutique to order yours.

Thanks for the support guys! Can’t wait to get my hands on the next copy of Urban Velo.
What’s up with the design on the front?
Am I supposed to ride at cars when I’m wearing this shirt?
What happened to the trend of putting designs on the back? Is that too ’80s?
You still need to be seen from the front, and I would certainly hope anyone wearing this at night isn’t relying on it instead of bike lights.
