		<description>I think you mean that it&#039;s an exciting opportunity to test one&#039;s mettle( unless they are interfering with another rider).  Or perhaps if one rides while listening to Black Sabbath, it&#039;s an exciting opportunity to test one&#039;s metal.</description>

		<description>Winter riding is site-specific.  Seattle is different than Montreal, which is different than Denver.  A main differentiator is whether you have snow/ice on the roads.  If you do, run studded tires.  CX or knobby tires are pretty good, but for hard-packed snow and ice, tungsten carbide studded tires FTW.  Are they heavy?  F*** yes!  Think of how strong your legs will be by the time the spring thaw comes!  Run them front and rear for max traction/braking/steering.</description>
