In the forums, the forum header is cut off on the bottom by the login/register box, so the links to the other parts of the site aren’t accessible other than a visible (but not active) top few pixels. (I’m on a Mac, and it’s the same in Safari, Firefox, and IE)

Other than that, looks fierce!

The background is distracting and makes the site hard to read. Combine the department and advertiser columns into one on the left side. I’ve never been a fan of the 3 column blog format. 2 Columns are best so that you can ignore, for the most part, non-article text.

I like it. Easy to navigate. Seems to work properly in both IE and FireFox. Doesn’t seem as dark as the previous design… still gritty enough, though.

My preferrence would be to have the page, sans background, filling the full screen.

In the great scheme of things it’s not a great issue, just my tuppenyworth from a partially sighted old coont who would be aided by seeing things a large as possible. Yes there are screen mag programmes but I prefer to do without them.

Oh, and if you do a search, the results page (in both browsers) looses the left column, but not the dottedline margin, so the text crosses the line and doesn’t look good.

Looks fine to me in Windows IE7 and Firefox. The search box seems cramped. Mabe need a little breathing space from the Submit Comment button and the google ad at the bottom? Other than that it’s a sweet set-up.
