Valve caps aren’t usually something to write home about, and in fact most people find they lose them and never think about them again. Kids and kids at heart love colored ones however, and Velocolors now offers both Presta and Schrader caps in 8 colors for about $2.50 per 4-pack. Inspired by his daughters interest in the standard red caps on his bike, Bob Lang looked around and couldn’t find any other colors available and decided to order up batches of his own. The Schrader ones even have a gasket in them to help keep your air where you want it since the cap on a Schrader tube is actually functional and for more than just decoration.
