I have a rear 48h chukker laced to a high flange soma hub fixed/fixed and this wheel is sick, I run a 37 rando on it and it seems like the wide profile makes balancing for no hand track stands so easy on this thing. The wheel takes abuse from mashing the streets to the freestyle island at embarcadero in San Fran, I don't even have to worry about my wheels, before I used to hold myself back with the thought in the back of my mind saying, " are you sure your wheels can hold up to this..?" well not anymore! :) HELLA STOKED!

If you read this and do any type of rough riding you wont regret it.

I have a set of the 26" chukkers, drilled with 48 spokes. The anodizing is wearing off slowly, and it brakes just fine. Great wheels!

I have the Olive Chukkers as well, with black hubs and spokes in a 32 hole 3x lace. I've had them since November, running singlespeed with front & rear brakes, and 35mm Continental Speed Kings (cross tires). I haven't had a chance to play polo and I don't do any freestyling but for sidewalk surfing (jumping on and off curbs) and singletrack use they are still true, even after catching some small stumps in the spokes. The anodization is still on, showing no signs of wear. I've run Deep V's and B43's and these Chukkers are my favorties. When I start building up a singlespeed 26" mountain bike I'll be looking to Velocity for another wheelset.
