Urban Assault Ride
Last year we reported on Subaru’s involvement in promoting urban cycling events. This year, the event continues with stops in eight U.S. cities. Instead of PBR, however, the beer of choice will invariably be that of the new title sponsor, New Belgium Brewing.
The kickoff event in Seattle appears to have gone off without a hitch. As reported by the Biking Bis blog, “Most folks took it all in good fun, and used it as an excuse to work up a good thirst for the beer garden at the finish line in the Fremont neighborhood. Judging from arrivals there, it seemed like it was taking most teams at least three hours to finish the course.”
