I’ve personally never owned a Trek built bicycle. Does anyone have a favourite Trek bike story to share to celebrate and honor the contribution Dick Burke made to the bicycle indusrty? I love his final note!

I’ve got some close friends who work for the Trek corporation.
I probably put more miles on a Trek 970 than any other bike I’ve owned. I lent it to my younger brother to get him into mountain biking, and he’s been hooked for years. When he bought his own bike, I took the Trek back. Eventually I traded that frame to a friend for a piece of artwork because I thought it would be a perfect mountain bike for her daughter.
Presently I’ve got a LeMond, which is actually made by Trek, and it gets the most riding time out of all my bikes.
