Transforming Cars Into Bikes
Yesterday began my official journey back into completely car-free living when I sold my car to my parents. Today I’m celebrating by posting this rad video of a group of makers who transform car parts into bicycles. As the video shows, they use car metals for the frame, turn signals for rear lights, seat covers for saddle covers, a transmission belt for the belt-drive”, etc.
I don’t know the practical logistics for making this happen on a larger scale, but whatever, they seem to have the process down and can turn something bad into good…so let’s just go with that.
