No more bike rides to “raise awareness”. No more bike rides for AIDS or cancer. (Very little of the money raised ever gets to where it needs to go). Please get off the bike and do something a bit more direct. Take over city hall, send money directly to medical researchers, physically block the frackers. Do something, but please stop pretending that riding a bike is a big deal and a way to get anything done besides get exercise and get somewhere else.
