James,

This is not your usual awareness bike ride. We are raising funds for a cure. We are taking the message of those harmed by fracking in our community and beyond to Washington DC to force out leaders to look at the truth. Last month we were part of 1,000 people that took over the Ohio State House with our message of People not Profits. If you are in the area of one of our rides, please come join us for the day or more.

Please stop. No more bike rides to "raise awareness". No more bike rides for AIDS or cancer. (Very little of the money raised ever gets to where it needs to go). Please get off the bike and do something a bit more direct. Take over city hall, send money directly to medical researchers, physically block the frackers. Do something, but please stop pretending that riding a bike is a big deal and a way to get anything done besides get exercise and get somewhere else.
