I like to pad-lock my bicycle when I’m leaving it away from home so yes, I do need a key. Then again, what are the chances the adapter would remain with the bicycle if it was left unattended?

I just rubberband the little one to the tiregauge in my seat pack. This is pretty cool, though, if you don’t already own an adapter.

I just keep mine screwed onto one of the valves, but there’s always that one dude who says “hey you left your adapter on your valve”, like it was unintentional.

I love it…but — why don’t folks just leave them screwed to the presta valve in the first place? You’ll never lose it that way!
