The folding bike category continues to grow as more people find that they can ride to the bus or train and stash their bike in the office. Tern folding bikes are a new brand taking some tried and true folding technology and tweaking it bit for a better ride. The hinges are large, with lots of surface area for a solid connection and impact resistant locking mechanisms so if you drop the bike or otherwise catch it on something while folded the actual locking mechanisms will not break.
Quick attach bags and an optional integrated wheeled rack makes transport that much easier. They have offerings in both 20″ and 24″ sizes, with bikes built for speed and bikes built for just getting from A to B.

I can’t find a single picture of the bike folded up on that site.
Does it fold like Montague (big), Dahon (medium), or Brompton (small)?
Tern is a company that split off from Dahon so the bikes fold like Dahon (medium).
To see folded photos on the Tern website: on each model page there is a button in the lower left corner of the photo that says “See it fold/unfold” which will toggle the two images.
