Stop Pedaling, Start Driving

General Motors was running this ad in a few campus newspapers, until they went and canceled it after being panned on a number of cycling websites.

I once worked in-house in advertising. The GM ad gives me the feeling that the next thing up their sleeves were coupons for cigarettes with every GMAC loan. And, check out the antique brakes on the bike used in GM’s ad.

The Giant ad really comes across a lot better (unless you’re a total knuckle head). Thanks Paulo.
