St. Louis Bike Polo hosted the 24hr Indoor Polo Lock-In this past weekend, proving that bike polo players from across the land will travel for an overnight day of pickup polo. Some 80+ people were in attendance, with the next-game piles stretching 14 games deep at 4am as a number of people stayed true to the theme and up all night. People from as far as Florida, Colorado and Texas made the drive with the overwhelming consensus being that it was one of the most fun weekends of polo many of us have ever had. The stories from the weekend will surely fill the League of Bike Polo message board once it returns from some scheduled maintenance, but until then here are some images from the weekend. Special thanks to Lucky and the entire St. Louis crew for all of their hard work in housing and feeding so many of us on what amounted to a surreal weekend of all day and all night polo.

Everyone’s welcome in St. Louis. Come back soon!
No, thank YOU. It took 87 people to make that weekend come off right. We chose the route and built some floats, but it ain’t a parade without happy townspeople.
Don’t forget Indiana! We were representin’ too!
A million thanks to Lucky and the whole St. Louis crew– here’s one happy townsfolk.
Now I gotta go practice my kickalo skills for next year.
I wanted to go so bad.
