SRAM pART PROJECT 2012
The SRAM pART PROJECT began in 2011 at Interbike and raised over $96,000 for World Bicycle Relief. This year, twenty-four artists of Salt Spring Island, BC were the lucky recipients of SRAM parts to have a go at dismantling, reassembling and who knows what else, turning already beautiful products into something new entirely. The sculptures will be displayed and auctioned off June 21 – 23. The proceeds will go to World Bicycle Relief to purchase more bicycles for Africa, which leads to self-sufficiency, access to employment and education, and much more.
