It may not be very urban, but it is a bicycle built for a good cause by good friends, so it is clearly worthy of some space on the blog. Speedgoat has been producing one of a kind pink bicycles to raffle off for the Breast Cancer Fund for some time, and this Niner Jet 9 is the latest incarnation. Decked out in the highest end of mountain componentry, much of it not available anywhere else, this bike and the collaborative work behind it is but one part of the bike industry’s contribution to charitable causes. Raffle tickets are available for a mere $10 each. So far, Speedgoat’s pink bike raffle program has contributed over $48,000 to fight breast cancer. Feel free to play your part.
