We received word that the Sparrow integrated handlebar basket will soon be available in Colorado. It’s made in Denmark of aluminum alloy tubing, available in six different colors.

Doesn’t look like it’ll take much of a load with no support below.
That does look rather cool, I will have to investigate. I have been looking for different options for cargo on the front of my ride.
For the Canadian readers here, another option available through a big CDN distributor –

Same idea and I think it retails for about $60.
Pretty cool!
Oh hey – nice catch BikeBike! I’d be wary of putting too much of a load in either one without support off the crown or fork braze-ons…
If you put much of a load into it, won’t the entire thing try to rotate until the cross-piece contacts the headtube, particularly if the load is towards the front of the basket?
I like the concept, I think.
Since I actually like carrying loads on my bike, I’ll stick to the CETMA.
that’s pretty sweet looking!
Call me crazy, but that just looks like an all around bad idea. Not only is the entire load pivoting on your stem clamp it’s also way above the tire putting your loads center of gravity way higher than most folks would like when carrying stuff.
Fun concept though, I’ll give them that. I too would much rather use a Cetma or VO rack.
