We found this video over on Biking Bis. Although this ad comes from northwestern Pennsylvania, you have to wonder how many local candidates are using this NRCC propaganda.

Personal sacrifices?…how dare she!
Unbelievable that attitudes like those of the NRCC are still extant, given the obvious energy challenges the world faces today.
I saw this over on myspace the other day. Pissed me off then to.
you can’t spell HATE GROUP without G-O-P.
I totally understand, I don’t even walk to the bathroom…
Republicans.
Wow, that’s appalling. Like, that is ridiculous.
My dogs are a GREAT way to get to work.
No but seriously, that’s f’ed up beyond belief.
holy shit. if i had a dog sled, (and lived where it snowed year round) i’d TOTALLY use it to get to work. that would be way cooler than driving my car.
i can’t wait till the oil is gone. then we will see sacrifice…
I live 3 miles from work. I get there for free on my bike, or my feet and I don’t have to pay any money to park my bike or shoes when I get there. I must have gone crazy with my wacky notion or spending $0.00 on my commute to work.
I had to watch this twice to make sure I understood it.
A dogsled is pretty extreme, but I’d do it if I lived in an isolated, winter all year round community.
