Tomorrow at noon, the Bicyculture Rodeo kicks off on the corner of Sharp and Ostend (next to the Ravens Stadium). We’ll see you there.

Bicycle Rodeo: High noon @ The large parking lot, on the corner of Sharp and Ostend (Next to the Ravens Stadium.) Sign ups for all contests and registrations for the lapped rally race and the 2nd alleycat, from noon till 2pm. (registrations for 2nd alleycat will be available until 1hr. before start of that race.)

Official site for #3: of the Best of 5 “races”: A closed course lapped rally-race. Start time, amount of laps, and courses TBA the day of the rodeo.

Skidz: Longest skid wins.

Track Stand: Contest eliminates riders as rounds go by; two hands, one hand, no hands, one foot, etc.; front wheel cannot move more than 1ft. or rotate. Once you “footdown” you’re out.

Circles: This fixxed gear classic, riders ride backward in full circles, rider that completes the most circles with out touching the ground or “footdown” wins.

Relay Race: (4 person teams/1 female per team) Each member of the team must complete a full lap and pass along a messenger bag containing a cinderblock!

Footdown: In a set perimiter, all riders must stay within the boundries, at the same time all riders will purposely lean, push and attempt to force other riders to “footdown” thus eliminating them from the contest. Last rider to NOT touch the ground wins. This is a full contact contest.

Bunnyhop: Highest hop over a bar, bar is raised higher and higher with each round, highest hop wins

Start line for #4 of the best of 5 “races”: The start time and location of the 2nd alleycat has been modified! Registrations will take place at the rodeo and at the end of the rodeo there will be a short intermission. All racers as well as spectators will regroup at middle branch park (next to the hospital) in South Baltimore… This is the new start line. Upon starting the race, all spectators will group ride to the finish line and await our winner! We will announce the finish line the day of the race to insure as much fairness to the race as possible. Once it has been announced, feel free to let friends and non-bike participants know where the finish line / after party is located as it will feature live bands and entertainment.

Prizes and giveaways for all rodeo event winners.
