The bicycle density of Amsterdam is staggering, and is much as fabric of everyday life as cars are in American cities. It’s everything I know about urban transport turned on its head, where bicycles rule the streets, intersections are left completely uncontrolled, and down the next alley you’ll find gigantic cargo bikes for rent from Rent a Bike Damstraat Amsterdam.
