Renaissance Bicycles specializes in building up vintage and old-school frames with a mix of period and new-but-classic parts, with a recent project being this gravel road scorcher build. Riding fixed gear bikes on inappropriate surfaces is one of my favorite activities, and this bike makes me want to get out on some gravel roads myself. I remember when the old Ibis Scorcher was available, and wish I had been wise enough to purchase one back then. While those bikes are long spoken for, the Renaissance Scorcher build with the pictured Velo Orange Polyvalent frame will be available soon for around $1500.

Polyvarent? Is that Taiwanese English for Polyvalent? By the way, I love my V.O. Polyvalent: smooov and comfy.
Inappropriate surfaces eh?
Pretty much sums up the Almanzo100 (http://almanzo100.com/).
Yes, Polyvalent is French for “Multipurpose”, Polyvarent is Taiwan-lish for “not proof reading”.
Thanks!
