it is around here. i drive substantially less. i leave my jeep parked and drive my wifes VW to work (twice the gas mileage). she bikes to work now (just a couple miles each way) and i have rode my fixed gear to work… 22.5 miles each way on cincinnati hills. i have seen more bike commuters this year than ever before! exponentially more!

unfortunately it just isn’t happening that way. i’ve seen 3 people i work with buy new cars in the last month… amazing.
