Pittsburgh Cyclist Says Driver Deliberately Hit Him

Nick Drombosky, the owner of Fiks:Reflective, says that a driver deliberately struck him with his vehicle today. From the Post-Gazette:

Mr. Drombosky extended his arm as a reminder to the driver that a Pennsylvania law enacted this year requires vehicle operators to give at least four feet of clearance when passing a bicycle.

The reminder evidently did not sit well with the truck driver, who swerved to the right to knock Mr. Drombosky to the pavement, the bicyclist said.

    the worst part about these types of stories is how little they phase me anymore in that this is a story i’ve experienced (thankfully not quite to this degree, but with similar intention) multiple times and heard hundreds of times.
    just last week while riding to work at 5:30 in the morning i had a birdcage thrown at me from a car’s passenger side window.

    let’s all look out for each other.
