Philadelphia Shop Owner Wins 40-44 Track World Championship

BeWellPhilly reports that Philadelphia shop owner Joe Wentzell of Breakaway Bikes went to Manchester England and came home with the World Championship stripes.

According to VeloUK, Wentzell lapped the entire field on a solo breakaway, solidly taking the 40-44 Scratch Race. Bringing the World Championships to the state we each call home, quite the accomplishment—congrats Joe!
