Philadelphia Pedicab Blues

16659 Last week the Philly Metro published a brief update to a story that stretches a few years and explains why Philadelphia has no active pedicab services.

The city in October 2006 forced the Dambmans off the street after officials with the Department of Licenses and Inspections decided that there was no ordinance regulating pedicabs and ordered them to cease running the business, the Dambmans said.

    Good! There should be no place for Rickshaws on the streets of any city.
