Peacock Groove Voltron Bike at NAHBS 2013

peacock_groove_nahbs_2013_021

Builder Erik Noren of Peacock Groove loves concept bikes and loves anime, creating this Voltron themed bike for this year’s show. Impeccable finish work and unique lines are his hallmark, and this one has it. Go fast, turn left and don’t even try to wrap your head around the lacing on that front wheel.

@#17E1E3: been around for a while. KHS had them, at least as far as I can remember, 12 years ago.

#17E1E3 – Many track bikes use that frame shape and have for many years. It is a way of creating a narrow wheel base. I could link to 1000 bikes that look similar. The front wheel – purchased and painted. I don’t think the idea was to have a completely new bike concept – it’s just a voltron themed track bike.
