PDW Excalibur Fender

Portland Design Works has updated their seatpost mounted metal fender, moving up from the previous covered Machete to the Excalibur. Available for $48 in either polished or black, the Excalibur features an updated mount to hold tight and make installation that much easier. It’s your choice to have a QR lever for fast deployment or a 5 mm allen head for theft resistance. I use the previous generation Machete fender quite frequently, while it doesn’t prevent all overspray it does a pretty good job of keeping your butt streak-free from a wet road. Nothing beats full coverage fenders, but when that’s not an option or you’re just looking for the bare minimum of convenient rain protection a clip on fender like this might be it.

Is the angle, or the distance from rear tire, adjustable, like an SKS X-tra dry? thanks
