Our Neighborhood is Safe!

By now everyone’s heard the story of Ashley Todd and her made-up mugging. What most news reports fail to mention is this happened just blocks away from Urban Velo’s headquarters in the Bloomfield section of Pittsburgh. In light of the negative press brought about by one backwards B, we wanted to dispel any myths that Bloomfield (known as Pittsburgh’s Little Italy) is anything but safe. Especially in light of the fact that tonight’s Pittsburgh Calling Alleycat will bring racers into our beloved neighborhood. And Sunday’s Polo Tournament will take place squarely underneath the Bloomfield Bridge.

She’s not from Pittsburgh. I’d have had the good sense to at least say I was in the Hill if I was cooking up her mendacious story. =\ Someone needs to send her a copy of Sebak’s Neighborhoods.

She’s faking it. This breaks it down…

People are idiots. There is NO WAY she sat there and let someone do that without breaking the skin and then to not go to the hospital?

But her Twitter and Myspace take the cake.

    Also, she confessed to lying.

I actually had NOT heard of this. A for effort anyways.

Backwards “B” huh? Wouldn’t that be the result one could obtain by printing the character whilst looking in a mirror…just sayin’…..

    gentlemen and ladies

she needs our help. this is a cry for attention. she is not scary or hideously scarred physically but those of her psyche are another matter.
it would be a good time to practice outreach, find her a good saddle to ride and some more compassionate company than that she finds hanging with the gop has beens.

Should have used an “I” for idiot.

Ashley Todd is simply further proof that you’d have to be some sort of whack-job to support the Manchurian Candi….err McCain.

I don’t buy this post for a second. I’ve heard if you bike through that neighborhood, someone will tackle you, and carve a backwards “V” for “velo” in your face.
