NYC By Bike
Photographer Tom Olesnevich must REALLY like New York and REALLY like cycling, or why else would he strap his 500 dollar Nikon on the back of his bike at ground level? To get the shots for his NYC By Bike project, Olesnevich used a flexible tripod attachment to strap the camera to his bike and got the shots via an infrared trigger.
In going through the series on his site, a number of them are nothing more than images with a unique perspective, but those that stand out really show the hustle of NYC, the pedestrian congestion, the madness at Times Square…all from a cyclist’s perspective, their rear wheel to be exact.
