NYC Bicycle Billboard Campaign
Why does New York City have all the great bicycle advocacy? I guess it has something to do with all those bicycles people ride! It would be pretty amazing to see something like this in our city, but I guess we need a lot more bike / car collisions to necessitate that. Maybe it’s better we don’t have the need for these yet. Anyways, advocacy group Transportation Alternatives teamed up with marketing agency Mother NY to create these striking billboards that are meant to drive web traffic to the Bike NYC website, where users can find commuting tips, bike-related events and deals on various cycling products. I don’t know how many of these were posted in the city, but with both the billboards and printing donated to the cause, I’m guessing a lot. You can see the full collection here. Good on you NYC.
