Norwegian Bicycle Lift

This bike lift in Norway looks like an accident waiting to happen, but it curiously appeals to both the bicycle geek and the incurably lazy. (And if you’re not amused, just imagine trying it on a fixie.)

This is hilarious! 3-4 mph? I would ride about that fast or faster (Fargo Hill is an exception.) But I guess if you’re old, heavy, a beginner or just plain lazy it comes handy.

if these were in the states, i just imagine crashes due people trying to skirt up these with Big Macs in hand

“Takes you up the steepest hills, smoothly and easily.”

So do my legs. Cool from a techno point of view, but otherwise lame. This is for the Segway crowd, I think.

And yes, the elderly and infirm cyclists might benefit, but only if they can get the lazy people out of the way to use it!
