Had mine for about a year now, and it has seen use as my commuter light and a few night rides out on dirt using the helmet mount. Fantastic light, great charge life. As others noted the weak point is the handlebar mount. Too shifty if you're running 25.4 or 26.0 bars if you don't use something to fill in between them and the mount. It looks like their new line may have addressed this issue. I'm hoping that those new mounts retrofit to these lights as it would be sahweet to get rid of the lump of old inner tube on all my bikes' handlebars.

I've been using the MiNewt 250 for about a year, which appears to shares the same mount. Great light, but be ready to adjust it a bit as you go along - the mount just doesn't give you a death grip of any sort. Good in that you can easily blast incoming traffic or discretely lessen the glare. Bad in that it will slowly go head down over rough ground.

Being able to run the 600 at a lower setting and have the same umph as my 250 would be a real benefit since I think that would translate into longer battery life.

While brighter is nicer, does anyone know of anything that doesn't seem to have such a tight beam? A little more visibility from the side (for the drivers sake, and for my safety) is always appreciated, and I think that's a place where most bike light designers fall down.

I like this light a lot. I use it on the low setting and it is gives me more than enough light to not only be seen, but see as well.

However, the mount kinda sucks. It is nice that it can come on and off easily, but it is too small to fit road bars well. It barely gets two "clicks" around the fat part. And I worry that since there is no real locking mechanism or screw, the whole thing may come off. That has never happened, but I still worry about it.

Also, my only other complaint is that, at least on my light, the USB cover keeps popping open. It hasn't been an issue yet, but it would allow a lot of water in. Thankfully, I bought mine at REI, so if that ever happens, I'll just return it.

I would like to see the ability to charge and shine (on low or something) at the same time in future versions. This way, I can carry a USB battery for longer nighttime rides.

Overall, I give it 3.5/5 stars
