NiteRider Introduces The Sentinel

NiteRiderSentinalNiteRider is now offering a tail light with a virtual bike lane indicator.

The Sentinel 2 Watt Tail Light has a powerful 2 watt LED (30 lumens), 5 modes and is USB rechargeable.

    Cool idea, as a driver though i’m usually to blinded by high intensity LEDs to see anything else around the cyclist. how strong are those lines?

    I use rechargeable NiMH AAAs and the laser lines are pretty bright at night.

    Id like to see some good demos of this in action. Various ambient light conditions and all that. My 5:30 a.m. commute takes me past a pont that almost always has fog hanging around it for instance. Are the lines still visible or would i just look like a glowing red ball of “what IS that”?

    Just bought one of these lights and so far very impressive super bright at night and the laser lines are hard to miss I live in Arizona where there’s barely any bike lanes on the roads I ride on and this is very nice to tell those drivers STAY left of the lines just wish I had some rainy weather to test it out in for that fog that JON was talking about maybe one of our good buddies from San Francisco will ring in
