Patrick -- I have the same gripe about the rubber band...I find my Swerve is pointing toward the ground more often than not. So, it rides on my messenger bag with the excellent clip now!

Brad, is there any way you guys can do a "head to head" comparison of the brightnesses? I KNOW you have a Swerve and a Superflash floating around in your collection!

If you added the Cherrybomb after the Superflash and the Swerve, wouldn't the Cherrybomb be brighter just because of the newer batteries alone? Or is the Cherrybomb brighter even when all the lights have new batteries?

The cherrybomb is OBVIOUSLY a good bit brighter than each. I have all 3 mounted on my seatpost. I had the superflash first, then added a swerve because it looked cool, and then the cherry bomb came and destroyed the competition. Also, I didn't think the swerve mounting was any good at all, the rubber bands allowed the light to bounce around too much.

I'd love to see a brightness comparison between the Cherrybomb and some of the other lights on the market.

Patrick, what specifically do you like better about this light than the others you mentioned? Because, for my money, the Superflash is damn hard to beat (and the Swerve has a really fantastic and secure clip, one of the gripes of the Cherrybomb).

Personally, I like these better than the Planet Bike Superflash AND the Princeton Tec Swerve. They are so bright and look nice mounted vertically or horizontal. Niterider has the bext lights by FAR in my opinion. I have this along with the Minewt Dual X2 and it is the perfect setup.
