I find it hilarious how they show a delivery guy saying the bike lanes make things safer then rides off going the wrong way!

I am a cyclist in NYC, and I wonder how much of the hate towards cyclists comes from food delivery guys alone!

Hey,
the taxi driver is right, me as a cyclist and driver, I hate cyclist without lights, no hi-viz stuff, who ride like idiots. My mate from U.K told me it has become a quite a problem with people who never rode a bike before (in the city) and now all excited about the new hype, behave on the road like kings of the road. I live compared to NY or London in a small town, but I can understand how it feels from the drivers point of view. Anyway I am 100% pro-bike, but consciously. :)

[...] Here we go again. The framing of new cycling policies and infrastructure in New York as a “war.” This time it’s cycling advocates regurgitating this unhelpful construct.
Very well done video. Maybe instead of "wars" it could be New York Cith Biking Infrastructure growing pains? Oh well I guess we all know it is a war of sorts, but perhaps if the idea is to reach a broader auidence the word war has a somewhat negative connotation?
