Montague Boston Folding Bike Frame Only
Montague has been making full-sized folding bikes since the late 1980′s, perhaps best known for their paratrooper bikes sold to the military and through high-end mail order catalogs. Their bikes rotate around the seattube with a single, locking QR lever to fold into a car-trunk sized package. Not small enough to fly with, but definitely easier to stow than a full sized bike when it comes to cramped living quarters or multimodal commutes. A couple of years ago they introduced the Boston, a 700c single speed bike for city commuting, and this year they are making it available as a frame-only for those that want to build it up with their own parts spec. Given that the complete bike retails for $800, I’d imagine the frame-only will come in just over half that but pricing has not yet been set. Look for it in two sizes this fall/winter season.

Oh that would be so cool! I need a frame that will fit in a case that is less than the airline 62 linear inches, and this might be the ticket!!!

I fly with my barely legal coupled bikes often enough, and there is no way this frame will fit the 62″ airline bag spec.

Looks like it would make a cool swing bike.
