I bought the vis 360 about 5 months ago and the usb port failed, it actually broke away from the poor solder connection. That said it is clearly a weakness in the design. Luckily for me I'm an electronic technician and was able to solder it back on, I have voltage to the battery to charge it but the flashing indicator no longer works. They need to scrap the mini usb and use a reliable RCA mini jack.

The light charges via mini USB. The connector on the first run of these products failed in a couple of days - I shipped the product back and they sent me a new one saying they figured out the design flaw. I rode to work on it for a few days, and the usb connector failed again. I went to my LBS and purchased a new one (because im an idiot), and shipped the broken one back again. They sent it back 'repaired'.... My new one lasted a week before it broke, luckily I had the repaired one in my bag for the ride home.... went to charge the repaired one and the usb connector failed - I sent them both back in and they told me they now really had a solution for the usb connector - just received the units back and went to charge one before even using it and won't charge - so they sent it back without testing it - as far as bike products go this is probably the worst purchase I have ever made.... I have them for sale cheap if someone wants to buy them - why is there no zero rating on this site??

I just got my Vis 360. The front light is more of a spot-light, but wide enough to see the road, and the tail-light and side lights are bright! Headlight is bright enough to ride in total darkness at about 15mph, but for in the city it is ideal with a low-power mode and blink function. Everything mounts on the helmet and is very light. Now i don't have to worry about taking my expensive headlight on and off every time I lock up my bike.

Just ordered the Vis 180 since I lost my last blinky(planetbike blinky 7) off my messenger bag. This thing looks really bright, more so than the PDW Radbot 1000, and has a reflector just like the Radbot. It also uses the same USB charging cable as my Nite Rider MiNewt 250 Cordless(great light), so I am stoked about that. But at $100+ship&tax, I sure hope it's worth it.

This is a great idea, but $169 for 114 lumens? There is not much visibility with that, not to mention it provides no light for the cyclist to use. For, just over, half that price Magicshine makes lights with 900 lumens. Which, provide 3 hour burn times. Even Niterider makes a USB re-chargeable light for around $100 with more lumens. Good idea, but why does the price tag have to be so high?
