LA Bikejacking Leaves Boy Dead
In an unbelievably sad story from the LA Times, two men accosted a 15 year old boy and 11 year old girl, demanding the boy’s bike. Although he complied, he suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and died. The girl is in stable condition.
Apparently the attackers have not been caught. Anyone with information is asked to contact LAPD’s Hollenbeck Homicide detectives at 323-342-8957.

my head is physicly acheing at the thought of trying to workout how someone can be such a monster,shooting a young person after the fact is incredibly evil,a thousand deaths to the perp,my thoughts and wishes to the families of the young life lost and to the girl whos life will be changed for a long time

Latest word is that this may have been a gang shooting, rather than a random bike theft as originally reported. No less tragic, but unfortunately, not that unusual.
