Yes Zak, I did. And you are wrong. I've been racing many years, since I was 11 up to semi-professional and trained with some well-known pro's when (years ago) I was tested by a wellknown pro team. With much travelling around Europe during road season, I’ve have got some road semi-pro championships. None in indoor cycling. And had the honor of racing with one of the recent pro champions, just retired. He made it. I didn’t. In winter, indoor cycling was part of our training and competition. Our coach and sponsor were very exigent. The sprint Nakano-Singleton is not clean, but not unusual either. In road racing, Nakano would have been disqualified. May be. However, indoor cycling is different. More contact is allowed. True, Nakano always have been known as a dirty rider. Most of the people, competitors or fans, dislike him. To win does not justify the means. At the end not only Singleton loses. Cycling loses.

have any of any of you be on a velodrome, let alone done match sprints? gord is a nice guy but he causes that crash. he swings wide out of 4 hooking nakano. then nakano bumbs back and gord leans into him (big no-no) instead of staying centered over the bike and loses traction. if you watch the earlier 2 rides, gord should have been awarded the first ride when nakano DID cause a crash. then gord wins the 2nd ride straight up. thus should already have won the round. rubbing is racing, especially back then in sprint events. nakano is by no means a goon and you are idiots for implying as such. you should watch the keirin final from the same year if you wanna see some serious argy bargy.
